PHINEAS' FIRST TRIP TO MAINE















And here he is in his grandmother's arms. Phineas had a wonderful trip with lots of new experiences. He went to the beach, he went for a swim in the pool, and he went for a jog in his stroller.

PHINEAS IS OUT FOR A STROLL




Phineas really likes to go for walks in the Arboretum. He looks up at all the trees in a very serious manner. You can see how serious he is in this picture.

ALEX'S GARDEN



Yes, today we are doing something completely different. Our old house has quite a lovely garden with lots of roses and perennials. Alex thought this year was going to be THE year since she would be home during her maternity leave. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate and the unending rain wreaked havok on the flowers. It's still a nice garden though. We will return to our regularly scheduled feature (Phineas) with the next post.

PHINEAS UPDATE



One month, two months, three months. It is true they change so fast. Phineas now seems to be able to willfully grab things and bring them towards himself (usually his mouth). He's also "talking" a lot.

Sophie and Phineas are second cousins. Sophie took a liking to Phin and vice versa. Here Sophie is supervising Phineas on his favorite playmat. Sophie also happens to be an amazing rock climber and maybe one day she'll show Phin the ropes (pun intended).

SOME FOURTH OF JULY FUN



We all went up to New Hampshire to spend the fourth of July with Chris' family and extended family. A good time was had by all. Chris and Phin sit on the dock.
