And here he is blowing a rasberry. He has a larger repertoire of sounds these days including the rasberry, the scream, and the laugh, as well as the coo.

Phineas and Rosi are having a good time together. They are headed out for a morning on the town.

PHINEAS' FIRST SWIMMING LESSON




















Phineas had his first "swimming" lesson this weekend. This involves a bunch of parents (Chris volunteered) milling around in a pool while holding their babies. Phineas was lukewarm on the whole thing. We think he might find the water a bit chilly. Next week he will have a baby wetsuit (we kid you not), so we'll see how that goes.

ONE COOL DUDE




Check it out man...Phin is wearing his blue Valdez heli-skiing hat and his red fleece dog-sledding hat. He and uncle Wes are going to carve some turns and hang out in Alaska.

A BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN DAY



We have had such great weather. Yesterday, we went for a walk in the Blue Hills and today we sat outside while Chris worked on the windows. Phineas is getting into playing. And he knows what he wants. He is playing with a cool wooden rowing boat he got from our friends Emily, Alex, Maddie, and Isobel. In this game he pulls all of the guys (rowers and Coxswain) out of the boat, or tips the boat over. We see if we can get them back in and prevent the dogs from stealing them. It's actually a lot of fun.

PHINEAS TRIES SOME FOOD



Now that Phineas is 6 months old he gets to start eating some real food. Here you can see that Phin is trying some carrots. He liked them very much. Eating is a messy proposition (messier than you can imagine).

Phineas' staff have been terribly busy and thus there have been limited blog updates. He continues to be very cute. Today is Phin's half birthday. Happy half birthday Phineas!
